Europe’s leading freestyle resort Laax is offering best riding conditions in the 160 meter long superpipe and the challenging slopestyle course. Laax and its partners are looking forward to celebrate the 6th edition of the European flagship event with lots of spectators and 200 riders from 19 countries and 3 continents competing for a prize-purse of US$ 50.000. Thrilling contests on the mountain will be followed by downtown action in the rocksresort and Riders Palace. With five years already under its belt, the European Freeski Open is set to raise the bar once again from 1 – 5 March 2011 while leaving its mark on the continental freeskiing scene. World’s top riders e.g. Candide Thovex, Henrik Harlaut, Russ Henshaw, Simon Dumont, JF Houle, Jossi Wells, PK Hunder, Sarah Burke, Kaya Turski or Virginie Faivre left their names already in the history books of the event by taking home titles and honours for outstanding performances in Halfpipe and Slopestyle.
